Martin Sir as my Divorce Lawyer…the Right Decision

I first contacted the law office of Martin Sir & Associates in September 2010 when I was considering a divorce. I found them during an internet search for divorce lawyers. It was a random choice that I selected this firm. Unsure of what I would find, I made the call. The first person I spoke to was John Agee, Managing Paralegal. From the very first word spoken, he made me feel that I made the right decision by calling Martin Sir & Associates. He was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. John took the time to answer all of my questions completely and thoroughly. I feel he sincerely cared about me. When I hung up the phone, I knew this was the firm to handle my divorce if that’s the route I decided to take. A few months passed while I tried to make my marriage work. I even called John to say that I was reconsidering the divorce. He did not try to talk me into going ahead with the divorce and wished me well. In January 2011, it became apparent that my marriage was really not going to work so I called John again. He was just as polite and compassionate as the first time we spoke. From that moment, John took control of the situation. I always knew exactly what was going to happen and what was expected of me. Because of my penchant for “worrying”, I would contact John about things that were probably silly or trivial, but he never made me feel that way. The compassion was always there. Even though this was an uncontested divorce, there were critical times that this bordered on becoming a contested divorce and again John knew what to do. He made sure certain documents were in place that protected me. Fortunately, things did not progress in that direction, but John was ready to do what was necessary. As the divorce date became closer, John made it a point of keeping me informed of things that would happen and why they were happening. When it came time to appear in court, I feel I was as prepared as I could be for something like this. It all went smoothly. In retrospect, I am happy that I made the call to Martin Sir & Associates and put my faith and trust in them and John Agee.
